MVA Studios is a North Hollywood production facility at 5535 Lankershim Blvd. Published facility materials describe an approximately 9,958–10,000 sq ft two-story property with multiple shooting environments, an approximately 12–28 ft ceiling-height range across the property and a 10×12 ft loading-door reference. The main-stage workflow also includes 21 motorized hoist points and 20×20 Aputure INFINIMAT capability. Yes. MVA supports studio-only bookings as well as stage-plus-gear and larger production workflows.
Can we shoot both stills and motion on the same day?
Yes. Send both deliverable lists so the stage, equipment and schedule can be planned around stills and motion requirements.
Are hair and makeup spaces available?
MVA has dedicated hair, makeup and vanity support spaces. Confirm the specific room allocation and booking inclusions for your dates.
Can I bring my own lighting and camera package?
Yes. Bring your own equipment or coordinate camera, lenses, lighting, grip and monitoring through MVA based on availability.
Does MVA charge a mandatory parking fee?
