Build the look around the brief

A seamless background can support fashion, beauty, photography, commercial motion and music-video work. It can read as bright white, a shaped lighting environment or a controlled background for a more graphic concept. Share references so the team can discuss lighting, camera positions and the support required to achieve your look.

Need another environment or a smaller setup? Compare the Upstairs Cyc or explore the Front Room + Front Cyc with marble-look epoxy floors and compare the facility’s production and support rooms before choosing your space.

Current Big Cyc lighting build

The newly photographed Big Cyc build shows MVA’s expanded Aputure lighting and rigging capability around the 21 motorized hoist points and overhead truss. The current setup is designed to give productions broad soft overhead light, controlled cyc coverage, front key options and flexible backlight positions from one stage.

  • Aputure INFINIMAT 20×20 overhead for a large soft top source
  • 4 × Aputure Nova P600c fixtures washing the cyc wall
  • 2 × Aputure Electro Storm CS15 fixtures on moving heads in the rear corners for backlight
  • 1 × Aputure LS 600c Pro centered as an additional rear/backlight source
  • 2 × Aputure Electro Storm XT26 fixtures positioned front left and right
  • 1 × Aputure STORM 1000c overhead/center as a key source
  • 1 × Aputure LS 600c Pro on a menace arm at front right

This is the current photographed lighting build and facility capability—not a promise that every stage rental automatically includes every fixture. Confirm the exact lighting package, rigging, crew and availability for your shoot dates with MVA.

Choose how much support you need

Stage and your own crew

Bring your creative and production team, then confirm your stage requirements, access, shoot hours and equipment plan with MVA. Share any unusual builds or movement needs early so the team can review them before shoot day.

Stage plus gear

Build camera, lenses, lighting, grip, monitoring and production audio into the same planning conversation. Browse the live rental inventory, including camera rentals and lighting rentals; availability and rental terms must be confirmed for your chosen dates.

Studio + Gear + Crew

Need more than a room? Explore MVA’s production services for help with crew, camera, lighting, production support and post. Tell the team which responsibilities you want to keep and which you want MVA to handle.

Recurring shoots

For a campaign or repeat content schedule, include the number of shoot days, formats, talent changes and delivery needs. A repeatable setup and agreed production workflow can be planned around those requirements; dates and scope are confirmed with the team.

What to send before requesting a quote

  1. Dates and time: preferred and alternate dates, setup time, shoot hours and wrap needs.
  2. People and scenes: crew and talent count, the number of looks or setups, and reference images.
  3. Stage and support: camera movement, lighting and rigging needs, makeup, holding, parking and load-in questions.
  4. Equipment and delivery: your gear list, any crew you need, and editing, audio or final-format requirements.

For a straightforward stage rental or tour, check live MVA Live Booking availability and choose your dates. If you need crew, production support, post or a custom package, use the Production / Shoot Request form to send the full brief.

White cyc studio questions

How do I check White Cyc availability?

Use the live MVA Live Booking studio booking section to choose your dates and open the Studio Booking & Tours product. For a larger production requiring crew, gear coordination or post, use the Production / Shoot Request form.

Can I book the studio without a full production package?

Yes. MVA supports stage-only rentals as well as stage-plus-gear and full-production paths. Use MVA Live Booking for the studio rental, then add gear from the live rental catalog or send a production brief if you need MVA to build the shoot.

Are lighting, grip and cameras included?

Confirm inclusions with MVA for your specific booking. The facility has access to camera, lighting and grip rentals, but this page does not represent an all-inclusive equipment list or date-specific availability.

What are the stage dimensions, access and cyc preparation requirements?

Ask the team for the dimensions and access details of the specific space you are considering. Confirm floor condition, cyc preparation, set-build restrictions, power and rigging needs before committing your shoot plan.

Can MVA help with crew and post-production?

Yes. Include the crew roles, audio, editing and delivery support you need in your brief. MVA can discuss a production package around your project rather than treating the stage as an isolated room rental.

Stage. Gear. Crew. Production. Post.

Plan the shoot, not five separate vendors.

Start with the space, or bring the whole brief. Share what you know and the MVA team can help define the next step.
