Music Video Studio Los Angeles

Bring the treatment, performance concept or reference reel. MVA can connect the stage, camera, lighting, movement, crew and post-production around the visual instead of forcing the shoot into a generic rental package.

Already have your crew? Open the studio tech pack and review production credits before you lock the treatment. Start with a production package →

The Stage

Build the look around the treatment.

The main and upstairs cyc spaces give music-video crews controlled environments for performance, fashion-led imagery, clean background work and lighting-driven concepts. Share the track, treatment, references and must-have moments first so the stage and technical package support the idea.

Set builds, rigging, floor preparation and specialty setups are reviewed with MVA before the shoot. Explore the White Cyc →

Lighting Looks

One cyc. Multiple worlds.

Start clean, push warm amber, go saturated, or build an entirely different palette around the treatment. The stage and current Aputure rig are designed to give directors and DPs room to shape the environment instead of locking the shoot into one look.

One Facility

Stage. Gear. Crew. Production. Post.

MVA can support a straightforward stage rental or help coordinate more of the production. The facility connects cyc stages, camera, lighting, grip, recording/audio capability, makeup space and production support so the project can stay under one roof when that makes sense.

  • 21 motorized hoist points available as part of the facility infrastructure
  • 20×20 Aputure INFINIMAT capability for approved lighting setups
  • Live gear inventory for camera, lighting, grip and monitoring
  • MVA video work and photography for visual reference

Before You Book

Send enough information to build the right shoot.

  1. Treatment + track: include references and must-have performance or narrative moments.
  2. Dates + people: include preferred dates, talent, dancers, crew count and wardrobe/makeup needs.
  3. Stage + set: note cyc preference, props, set builds, movement and special rigging needs.
  4. Camera + lighting: share any must-have systems or let MVA help build the package around the shot list.
  5. Deliverables: include the main video, cutdowns, social versions and post-production needs.

Music video questions

Can I bring my own director and crew? Yes. Tell MVA who is already attached and what support you want the facility to provide.

Can MVA supply camera and lighting? Yes. Use the production request and include the shot list, references and dates so the package can be scoped around the project.

Can I book only the stage? Yes. Use Book Studio when you already have your crew and gear covered.

Ready to plan the shoot?

Check the stage dates if you already have the production covered, or send the treatment and let MVA build the wider production plan around it.
